Of course with gas prices as high as they are, this has become a major expense, along with the storage of our equipment.

$50 can provide 10 pairs of work gloves for volunteers,  2 long pry bars, 3 rakes, 3 shovels, 3 hand pruning saws, or bedding plants for a project site.

$100 can provide a year's supply of trash bags, an edger attachment for a weed trimmer, or 1/2 of our needed hand tools

$200 can provide a lawn mower, trimmer, or a chain saw for tree trimming

$500 can provide a ground tiller or enough concrete for leveling 10-15 headstones (depending on the size).

$1000-$1500 can provide enough equipment to conduct the preservation and maintenance of 2 small cemeteries for an entire year, or longer

Of course, any equipment donated would be greatly appreciated as well as volunteer hours.

If you are more interested in assisting with the preservation of a cemetery's history through marker identification, then your donation can be earmarked for Texas Historical Medallions and plaques. Our goal is to provide, not only the maintenance of Texas' Historic Cemeteries, but also provide at least 1 Texas Historic Medallion with name plaque for every cemetery we work with. The cost are as follows:

Medallion only, with post                                                                                           $400.00

Medallion and 12"X6" name and date plaque with post                                           $650.00

Medallion and 16"X12" Interpretive plaques with post                                            $750.00

Medallion and 16"X24" Interpretive plaque with post                                              $950.00

All volunteers will be given a brief history of the project cemetery, with encouragement to conduct further research. Any volunteer may discover the needed history to designate a cemetery with a Texas Historical Medallion. They may even discover personal ancestry.
